Charlotte 3 @ Scranton W/B 4

Gavin Floyd (3-5, 6.68) had his first solid outing in a long time by going 8 strong innings, scattering 9 hits, 2 runs while striking out 6 and walking NONE. This type of outing is exactly what Floyd needed to get started on the right track again. He needs to build up his momentum and this is where he will start and feed off of.

Prospect Francisco Butto (0-3, 5.40) was promoted to Double-A Reading on May 25th and since then has appeared in 13 games, 16 2/3 innings and was shaky in the beginning but since then has calmed down which is a very good sign.
